Who Taught You to be Healthy?

If the teachers responsible for educating engineers were not proficient in math, then we would churn out a lousy crop of engineers.  If those parents responsible for teaching their children right from wrong had no moral compass, then we would soon live in a society full of miscreants.  Imagine that for a moment.  Think of the chaos.

Unfortunately, we live in a world in which the people that are responsible for educating the public about health have very little idea how to be healthy.  The chaos is very real.  Further evidence is produced on a daily basis that the public is being duped by poorly researched "facts" that are proven false only a few years after they are so clearly stated by healthcare professionals.  These professionals then proceed to stand their ground even though their feet are in quick sand.  To those that pay close attention, these professionals look foolish and their stance indefensible.  

Take, for instance, Gardasil - the controversial drug that supposedly prevents cervical cancer.  Many of you may have heard of HPV - Human Papilloma Virus.  It is said that HPV causes cervical cancer, so researchers went out and created a vaccine for it.  40,000 adverse reactions in kids resulting in a death rate of 1 in every 912 shots given later and we've got yet another case of pharmaceutical side effects destroying lives while ignorant doctors keep pushing against logic.  Your daughters' doctors have been selling you something dangerous as if it is necessary, under the guise that it might actually keep them safer and healthier.  These are the people being given the responsibility of teaching you and your family how to be healthy.  They're saying that a VIRUS that is responsible for deaths in just 1 out of every 40,000 cases per year is so dangerous that you should voluntarily (or in some states involuntarily) allow your daughter (12 years old is the starting age) to receive a vaccine responsible for 1 death in every 912 shots.  Deaths!   Gardasil reportedly made $1.2 billion in revenue in 2012.  “I just wish someone had warned me about Gardasil," said a mourning Rhonda Renata.  "My (18 year old daughter) Jasmine would still be here with us.”  I just wish that someone would hold these people responsible for their actions.
